How It Works
For every product purchased, HALF UNITED donates HALF of the profits to fighting the global hunger crisis. With the help from our consumers, retailers, and partnered organizations, we are making an incredible impact on the children and communities we feed.

Feeding Projects
In addition to feeding children at our partnering organizations, we have also successfully funded elementary school gardens, feeding programs, a local book bag buddy program, holiday meal programs, school meals for girls in Liberia, small farming initiatives in Fiji, and food for disaster relief in Haiti.

Education
Lack of education lies at the heart of the hunger crisis. This is why HALF UNITED’s feeding efforts have always run in conjunction with providing an adequate education for the children we feed. We know that when a child is well fed they are able to break the cycle of poverty in their community.

Community Support
HALF UNITED aligns with organizations which enrich the emotional and mental needs of the children we feed. The organizations we work with spend time with the children they feed, show them love, and teach them how to value, respect, and care for themselves and others in their community.

Vocational Training
HU’s feeding efforts often come in the form of supporting local farming or crafts initiatives. We employ the parents and neighbors of the children we feed, giving them the opportunity to gain skills that can help them earn money to support them- selves, their families, and their communities.
